We seek an experienced and results-oriented Accounts Manager to lead the  Accounts Department. This individual will direct our accounting functions, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timely reporting. The successful candidate will have strong analytical expertise and the ability to manage a team for optimal efficiency and performance.

The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:

 

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

 

• Oversee the preparation of timely and accurate financial statements (balance sheet, profit and loss, cash flow, etc.).

• Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data, identifying trends, variances, and potential areas of improvement.

• Present financial reports and insights to senior management, providing recommendations.

 

Accounting Systems and Processes:

 

• Develop, implement, and refine accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure integrity of financial data and compliance with accounting standards.

• Lead the continuous improvement of accounting systems and workflows to optimize efficiency and accuracy.

 

Compliance and Auditing:

 

• Maintain thorough knowledge of relevant accounting regulations, tax laws, and reporting standards.

• Ensure adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with internal and external auditors, facilitating audits and addressing findings.

 

Team Management:

 

• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance, development opportunities, and performance feedback.

• Facilitate cross-training and knowledge sharing within the team.

 

Budgeting and Forecasting:

 

• Collaborate with department heads to develop budgets.

• Monitor budget performance against actuals, providing timely variance analysis and projections.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Semi-Qualified (Inter CA / IPCC)

Expertise in accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS, or Indian Accounting Standards) and compliance regulations.

Minimum 10 Years, Preferred Freight Forwarding Industry Experience.

Proficient in accounting software and MS Office suite. (Logi-Sys knowledge is advantageous)
